Montana Specifics
How much flowering canopy can I grow in Montana?
The cultivator must acquire a state issued Marijuana Providers license and choose the canopy size based on the different tiers available. Tiers range from 250 sqft to 20,000 sqft. One stipulation is that a certain amount of canopy size be equipped for cultivation (roughly 77%). So, if you choose a tier 5 canopy which allows 10,000 sqft of production, 7750 sqft must be equipped for production. Another stipulation is that a license may only increase on tier at a time.
Can I use artificial lighting with my medical growing license?
Yes, artificial lighting can be used in both vegetative and flowering stages of growth. If growing in greenhouses, a light deprivation system should be implemented to maintain a "dark sky" at night.
Can I grow year round in Montana?
Montana is known for its very cold and dry winters so if you're growing indoor, the answer is yes. If you're growing in greenhouses the answer is still yes but you'll need an insulated greenhouse such as our Internal roll to peak light deprivation kit, to retain heat and lower operating costs.
Fighting mold and mildew in your greenhouses
Montana has a relatively dry growing season, mold and mildew can easily be controlled with proper air flow and IPM measures.
Do I need an evaporative cooling system aka wet wall in Montana?
Summers in Montana are warm but rarely see temperatures over the mid 90's. Therefore a evaporative cooling system can be used, but it is not necessary.

Hyper controlled environments
Each greenhouse can be set up to revolve through each stage of plant growth resulting in ideal growing conditions
Rapid speed to market
Option of growing your operation organically with smaller initial investment
Modular scalability
Highly scalable add structures in phases
Improved risk mitigation
Refine proof of concept at smaller scale and expand with confidence
Fewer parts to maintain (less moving parts)
Fewer parts are easier to maintain, simpler to construct, and have fewer (minimal) points of failure
Lower startup & recurring costs
Significantly more economical per square foot, even at scale, fewer initial costs
Fast construction
Build 3 structures in less than a month (9,000 sq/f total)
Resilience to total crop failure
Isolated production areas protect crops from the spread of pathogens & pests
Rapid tax depreciation
Non-permanent structures are considered personal property and have strategic tax advantages
Simpler land requirements
Multiple isolated greenhouses don't require one continuous flat plane
