Frames are separated to create a 2ft thermal air gap and protect the roll to peak light dep system from weather. Our frames have 2 3/8” sidewall posts, 1 7/8” arches, and 1 3/8” purlin. End wall framing is made from 2” square tubing.

Woven plastics are highly recommended for roll to peak light deprivation systems. Since the systems require labor to install, you want o be sure to maximize that labor by using quality materials.

Custom heavy duty galvanized metal ducting is used to bring in fresh air into the internal grow space. Light traps block light from entering through intake and exhaust openings when the greenhouse is blacked out.

A roll to peak light dep is the most economical way to automatically blackout the greenhouse. Putting this system inside the greenhouse takes away the disadvantages of being weather prone and is far easier to install than a curtain system.

Exhaust fans are sized to evacuate the full volume of greenhouse air within one minute to prevent the greenhouse from getting hotter than the ambient outside temperature. At night, these units are great options for controlling humidity.

Greenhouse frames can be beefed up with truss reinforcement. These packages can be designed to add reinforcement to every bow or every other bow. This is highly recommended is areas with high wind or snow.

Modine has become the industry standard in forced hot air heaters. The PTP series is an exceptional greenhouse heater that blows dry air. Covered by a 2 year manufacturers warranty, must be installed by a licensed plumber.
